Get to your local library and read Dave Ramsey’s ‘Total Money Makeover’ for free.

    Cut your expenses.
Sell your home / rent cheaper.
    Stop borrowing money!
    Work more.

Debt settlers deliberately let your accounts default by several months to put them into a position to negotiate settlements with your creditors…usually in the 50%…..This process will wreak havoc with your credit score…You’ll also get a ton of “nice” phone calls from creditors as your accounts slide past due….

It’s simple – cut impulse and unneccessary spending, liquidate current assets to pay off the debt, and if you still can’t make your balance sheet look right, then look at moving to a cheaper domicile.

In the future, spend only what you know you can make if you lose your job and have to settle for less. Save the surplus, so when you don’t lose your job, you have significant savings!
